Judy Charcas Jones has volunteered with the Selah Community Days Association for nearly 15 years. She served as secretary to the board for three years. Judy primary volunteer work has been as chair of the Arts and Crafts Committee . Her responsibilities in this role have included working with vendors during Community Days regarding scheduling , overseeing setup and dismantling of booths, and resolving vendor issues. Her work has brought about a diverse group of vendors to Wixon Park each year. Judy is the proud aunt of three nephews )David, Gregg and Mark Charcas) who were all raised in Selah. Her late mother, Josie Charcas, was also a long time Selah resident and active volunteer within many community and civic groups, Josie was Selah Community Days "Grand Marshal" in 2002 In her free time, Judy enjoys gardening and other work in the yard, as well as sewing and handicraft work. She has Volunteered in other Community and Civic Activities in Selah, including electionwork, and is involved with local senior groups. At home Judy enjoys caring for her two adorable doges Mikey and Barney.
