Miss Selah Royalty in the 2010 Selah Parade!
At this time there are somethings that need to be fixed before more information will be posted and the below information may change.?
Areas of competition: Personal Interview, Group Dance, Evening Gown, Talent, Modeling.
Prize Package: Scholarship Money $1200 for the Queen and $600 for both princesses, Official City Crown, Official City Banner, Other Prizes!!
What are Miss Selah's responsibilities: Miss Selah will be the official ambassador of the City of Selah and will represent our great city throughout the Valley at parades, pageants, luncheons and other events. From early May through late October, the new Miss Selah and her Princess will be busy with appearances nearly every weekend. The new Miss Selah will receive the official city crown and banner, a scholarship (at the completion or her reign and entry into the college of her choice), plus a year of memories!!
What do I do to Compete? You have to be in Grades 9-12 and a Selah High School Student or Selah Resident.
What are the areas of competition? You will compete in a panel interview with three to five judges, a modeling routine with clothing of your choosing, a dance/fitness routine, talent presentation, and evening gown competition.
What amount of time is involved in the pageant and as royalty if I win? You will be expected to attend practices for the modeling, evening gown and dance routines. Attendance is mandatory! If crowned, you will be expected to attend parades, luncheons, grand openings, city council meetings and special events. Most events will be held from April through October.

I acknowledge that I am under the direction of the Selah Community Days Association during pre-pageant and pageant activities. I am stating that I am drug, alcohol and tobacco-free and will continue to be so throughout the pre-pageant and pageant activities and during my reign as Miss Selah or Miss Selah Princess. I am also stating that I am not currently pregnant or will become pregnant during the same time frame. I understand that I may be removed from the pageant at any time that it is deemed by the Selah Community Days Board that I have violated the above rules.
In addition to the application, I am attaching my grades for the current semester as well as a teacher recommendation. and a current school photo for the website and program book.
