The way to get to the Main Staging Area and Unloading Area. (Equestrian Entries see below) This is he best way to get to the Main Unloading area in the Junior High School parking lot coming from Yakima. Go to the first stoplight and turn right then go though two more stoplights at Naches Ave and Fremont Ave and turn left at the third stoplight on to the Goodlander Rd go a little way up it to Lancaster Rd turn left into the lower High School Parking Lot and the Carlon Park Parking Lot. Drive down the road to the fence and turn right drive up the road to the fence opening into the Junior High Parking Lot! The check in table will be right there! And this is only open to vehicle in the parade!! And it is very narrow so there will be a person on both ends of the road with radios so only one vehicle at a time will be on it and they will check if the vehicles are in the parade of taking people to the Parking Lot! .

If you come from Ellensburg take I-82 to exit #26 the Yakima Training Center exit. Turn right at the stop sign. Follow it for .2 miles to the next direction sign (Selah - Ellensburg) and turn left towards Selah on to 823 Harrison Road. Take Harrison Road to the next stop sign and turn left on to North Wenas. Go on North Wenas to the next Stoplight and turn right on to Goodlander Rd go a little way up it to Lancaster Rd and turn left into the lower High School Parking lot and the Carlon Park Parking Lot. Drive down the road to the fence and turn right drive up the road to the fence opening into the Junior High Parking Lot! The check in table will be right there! And this is only open to vehicle in the parade!! After Floats and Buses etc. have Unloaded. Go back the way you came if you came the way above to the reloading area. Or follow the RED ROAD on the map. As you come up to the last stoplight go into the Fenced Field the reloading area at the end of the parade behind R & Q.

• The RED ROAD is the route to the unloading area and back to the reloading area.

• The GREEN ROAD is the Staging Area for the Parade!

• The BLUE ROAD is the Parade Route!

• The RED ROAD also is route for the Equestrian Entries to the unloading area at the parking lot across the street of John Campbell School.!

When go throw the fence into the parking lot and turn left into the parking lot. When the horses are unloaded go back to the Buses gate and turn left, go down to Wenas and turn right and go back to the police officer that will be in the street before the stoplight then turn left onto the street. Then go down a little way and turn left into the dirt parking lot. When the horses get there they can go into the lot at the 5th Ave sign.

Equestrian units must have Clean Up Crews! They must Clean Up Horse Dropping in the Staging Area and during the parade. Have them push a Wheel Barrel with a Broom and Shovel!

Depending of the amount of horses etc. you have to unload in the bus area and move the horses etc. into the parking lot? The only problem last year was some of the horse groups did not clean if the horses went the bathroom! If it happens again the groups will be charged $50.00 or more!!

A person will give your group the parade number and tell you when to go into the parade! So you do not have to go to the Junior High Parking Lot Check In Table!
