The best way to get to the Main Staging Area (Equestrian and Band Entries see below) is to take I-82 to exit #26 the Yakima Training Center exit. Turn left at the stop sign if you are coming from Yakima or turn right if you are coming from Ellensburg on to 821. Follow it for .2 miles to the next direction sign (Selah - Ellensburg) and turn left towards Selah on to 823 Harrison Road. Take Harrison Road to the next stop sign and turn left again on to North Wenas. Follow North Wenas to it the 1st Stoplight and turn left on to Goodlander Rd. then right into the Save-On-Foods parking lot. This is the unloading and gathering area (Pre-staging Area)! The Check in Table is in front of the Teriyaki Grille. To see a detailed map Click Here! (Equestrian Entries go to your unloading - staging area on Bartlett Ave.
After Floats and Buses etc. have Unloaded. Move to the end of the parade reloading area. To do so exit the Save-On-Foods parking lot by turning left on to Goodlander Rd. Follow theGreen Road on the map. Though the stoplight to the new stop light up the hill (by the High School) and turn left again. Go straight though 3 lights then turn left at the 4th light into the Reloading Area! As you see the Green Road will change at the second light to the Blue Road (which is the Parade route) with Green Arrows along the side
Equestrian Entries Please go right to the Equestrian Unloading - staging area on Bartlett Ave. Not the Check in Table at Save-On-Foods! You will get your line up number from the parade staging person.
The best way to get to the Equestrian Staging Area is to take 1st Street and turn on to Naches Ave. Then turn left on to North Wenas to Bartlett Ave. You will have to talk to the police to let you though after 7am.
If you know your way around Selah? To avoid the police and traffic you can take 1st street to E. 1st Ave. and turn right by Burger Ranch to Railroad Ave and turn left and go to Bartlett Ave.
If you are going to take your vehicle to the Equestrian reloading area. Please do so as soon as possible!
There is two ways to get the Equestrian reloading area.
Band Entries Please Check in at the table in front of the Teriyaki Grill leave the band members on the bus. You will get your parade number and will move to the NEW road by New Les Schwab Tires business. Which will be the new stagging area for bands! This way you can practice without being interrupted as much as before? There will be a stagging person there to put you in the right place and tell when to move into the parade.
