2007 Festival Theme

Hello,

Hi, to all of you on the Selah Community Days mailing List!

The Theme for the 2007 Selah Community Days Festival is"See you 'round Selah". The Festival will run from May 17 -  May 20, 2007.

Most of the information on the Web Site has been updated. You can get most Applications online from our website! You can download them or use the online forms and send them to the chairman.

Most of the Food Booth spaces are booked, But check the list of foods on website! If you sell food that is not on the list give Gary a call! If you would like to be added to the waiting list for another year. Call Gary Green for Food Booth information at (509) 697-4669 or email him at food_concessions@selahdays.org! (509) 697-4669.

There is still a few Arts & Craft Booth spaces Open!   Call Judy Jones for Arts & Crafts Booth information at (509) 697-4594.)  The Information on the website has not been updated yet!

The Parade Chairman prefers that you use the Online Form to send your Application! If you have questions about the parade call Alan Pelzel at (509) 697-7735 days, 697-8274 nights or 728-5238 cell.

The Miss Selah Pageant will be: Friday, April 27, 2007 at 7:00pm  It will be held in Selah High School Gym!

Changes are coming to the Little Miss Selah Pageant this year! The Changes will be on a Trial Basis!

The Pageant will NOT be held on the Sunday of the Selah Community Days Festival weekend! This year it will be moved inside on the Sunset Gym Stage (Selah School District Administration Building) on May 5th at 2pm!

Most of the main events are returning. We will have Cruz Nite again this year! And local bands will be performing on the Wixson Park Stage from 7 to 11pm Friday! Check on the Website for more information about this! Click on Cruz Nite Information in the menu.

The dates, times and prices for the main events have been Updated!  Please check the site for this information. Go to (www.selahdays.org) and click on the Main information in the left menu then click on Main Events information!

To see the Free Park Entertainment that will be perfroming.  Go to (www.selahdays.org) and click on the Main Information in the left menu then click on Free Entertainment!

The Carnival will be in town all four days of the Event. It will open at 5pm on Thursday - May 17, 4pm Friday - May 18, 11am Saturday - May, 19 and 12pm Sunday - May 20th. Wristbands tickets will be sold May 7 - May 17 selling will stop at Noon on May 17. The tickets will be sold at the Save-On-Foods and Selah Red Apple. The Prices are $15.00 if bought before May 17 or $20.00 if bought at the Carnival!

The Selah Community Days Board has increased the Fireworks Budget again this year for Bigger and Better Show!!

The Selah Community Days Association has picked one of it's Volunteer members as Volunteer of the Year! To honor them for there many years of involvement and helping make the Festival Bigger and Better! Go to (www.selahdays.org) and click on Main Information then Volunteer of the Year! To see who got picked!!

Are you a Selah Non Profit Group or Organization that has a up coming event! And you would like to get  the word out about it! Well now you can! In the comments box on the home page write a brief description of the event! Along with the best way to contact you! I will contact you about putting the information on the Selah Community Days Site, FOR FREE! Or you can E-mail the details to webmaster@selahdays.org
